Celestial Profile - April 2008

The month of April begins with Pluto turning retrograde. Pluto has been in Sagittarius since November 11, 1995. Pluto has provided the trial-by-fire approach to galvanizing our philosophy and our beliefs. At times we felt like little scorched embers staggering along our way. However, we have grown greatly in our strength and in our ability to stand up for our beliefs, even though we feel scorched by the fire breathing dragons along the way. Pluto went into Capricorn in January and intensified the events that were controlled by the lesser Pluto qualities; misuse of power within ethics, motives and accountability. Pluto now turning retrograde will review the power issues and especially as Pluto touches back into Sagittarius for just a bit of time to resolve many of these remaining issues once and for all. These challenges are what we feel the greatest because we are already singed and like a sunburn, when anything touches us at this point, we yelp with feeling the intensity.

Pluto turning retrograde on April 2nd begins this finalizing process which can only help us to feel that we are one step closer to resolution. This feeling continues as we move into the New Moon on April 5th that is at 16' Aries. The Aries energy represents our “seed” energy and represents the core of our being. To have the New Moon in Aries sends important signals to the core of our being to begin to grow the essence of who we truly are within our core self. This begins an important process that expands and brings in some important timing events that assist in this process.

We take this New Moon energy and expand through April and even though there may be speed bumps along the way, the events on the 10th will ultimately serve to shoot us forward and give us that boost along the way. By the time we get to April 16th, we will be ready to commit to our new directions as the Sun connects with Mercury. The desires and dreams we had on the Solar Eclipse, February 6th when the Sun connected with Mercury (although Mercury was retrograde), can now become a reality. The delay of two months has been frustrating, but the gift of timing is not always an obvious gift. The Sun spotlights the information that we have worked with to put into the documents that allow us to now sign on the dotted line. This new sense of commitment and decisions can start our process to walk our pathway that now has the stepping stones into the right directions.

The Full Moon on Sunday, April 20th opens the door to a grand viewing of the Taurus/Scorpio visibility of all the motives, ethics and accountability issues that have previously been hidden. Now much more is visible, thanks to the Scorpio midnight Moon spotlighting the inner workings of situations. On the 24th, Mars activates the expansion of Jupiter and begins to bring in a whole new series of opportunities. We also have new sets of goals and plans that are given a greater expanse to move forward.

April’s changes and adjustments can now activate our plans, projects and opportunities to implement these changes in our home and work environments. May becomes the month to implement these changes.

April is universally a FIVE month which emphasizes change, breakthrough and freedom. By the time we get to a FIVE month, it is always a relief. We feel like we have at least reached the summit of one mountain, even if it is in a series of other climbs left to accomplish. We are given a greater understanding of situations and can put things into perspective as we can see the other requirements of the year and can begin to plan our approach. FIVE allows for changes to move into our life that give us a change of seasons, change of energies and a change of focus. This is always a positive time and the FIVE is a welcomed month.

The breakthroughs and sense of freedom we have apply the Aries energy to push beyond the past and to emerge into a new world. The seed energy inside of us is propelled into the new world that is opening up to us and we also have the inspired actions to sail out of the old harbor, leaving the old port and all of the old situations behind and head for the open ocean. April has that feeling and we each respond to it in very positive ways, as our “seed” energy responds to the call.    

THE DAYS OF NEW BEGINNINGS will be April 5th, April 14th, and April 23rd, providing the opportunities to move our efforts into the new beginnings of this new season of 2008 as the new energies continue to be revealed. Important issues will be brought into view on these days to shift us into using our creative and expressive energy. This new energy gives us a giant push to move forward with boldness and readiness, ready to make important decisions and jump into our future. Especially as new information hits with the New Moon.  Important realizations spur our new beginnings, and we will jump into the 5th, highlighting our new sense of purpose.   

THE DAYS OF MAJOR CHANGES are April 9th, April 18th, and April 27th . Changes blow into April as soon as the first dawn rises.  With all of the changes that flow into April’s events, we will work toward the new energy of breakthrough and freedom.  Each of these days also provides a requirement to jump into action, taking bold steps to address the information that has come into our sphere. We find these days very powerful and full of changes. Ultimately on the 18th, changes will appear to give us new and different opportunities. 

THE DAYS OF CHALLENGES, occur on April 2nd, April 11th, April 20th and April 29th. These dates bring in the greatest sidewinds, and surprising events send information hitting our doorstep with a thud, causing our jaws to drop. These can also be days of great excitement as the Unknown becomes known and exposed. It is time to venture into the Unknown; we look to the new pathway of our future being created before our very eyes that reveals a whole new life. Yet it is our ability to see the challenges as opportunities to bring forward our personal attitude and personal effort to shift the purpose from one of challenge to one of opportunity.  This is especially true on the 2nd and on the 20th as the Pluto process is exemplified and the Full Moon on the 20th brings a greater view of the hidden agendas.

THE DAYS OF REWARDS: The next day brings the saying “What a difference a day makes!” into our reality and provides the rewards and successes for walking through the uncertainties of yesterday. These days are April 3rd, April 12th, April 21st and April 30th. Doors of opportunity begin to open and we are able to take action on our strong feelings that prompt us into action. The new energy we respond to, especially noticeable after the Full Moon on April 20th, prompts us to utilize the  opportunities to accomplish a great deal, that are prominent and given as a gift to us throughout the breakthrough month of April.
