Celestial Profile - December 2006

The month of December is filled with many Sagittarius aspects, creating events that are gearing us up for a major transition into the New Year. By the 8th, we have the line-up of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Pluto in the sign of Sagittarius. This shifts the focus of our thoughts, attitudes and events into the Sagittarius sector of our charts. This full sector creates the shift by which we will slide into the New Year of 2007, and begin the NINE universal influence. With NINE being the last year in a nine-year cycle, our focus shifts to endings, to bringing events into conclusion from 1999, the beginning year of this nine-year cycle. 

The Full Moon on December 4th brings the Gemini and Sagittarius qualities into a heightened emotional emphasis. Sagittarius rules the inner philosophy and Gemini rules outer communication. This alignment provides the compass needle to show us the way forward, with any misalignment providing the uncertainty of direction. The month of December begins to prompt alignment or uncertainty with the inner and outer alignment or the disparity providing the level of uncertainty. On December 10th, Mercury connects with Mars, and Mercury connects with Jupiter, which brings the information of our alignment to push us into our new direction and the doors of opportunity to open, especially as December 11th holds a Mars and Jupiter connection. This sets the pace for our new energies to move us forward quickly as the Sun spotlights the Pluto power on the 18th, which then takes us into the New Moon on the 20th at the same degree as the Sun spotlights the empowered Pluto energy. Mercury connects with Pluto on the 25th, which brings information about the new direction of our journey and transition into 2007. 

The Sun, Mercury and Venus take turns connecting with the powerful planet of Pluto to bring our focus toward our natural direction as we bring this alignment with truth and honesty into our philosophy and understanding. Mars connects with Pluto in January 2007 and Jupiter connects with Pluto in December 2007, all providing to empower our philosophical qualities, bringing them front and center during the transitions of 2007. The doorways that are beginning to be visible are according to the available opportunities of the Sagittarius avenues, as our efforts and commitment have grown while Pluto has been in Sagittarius since 1995. With Jupiter connecting with Pluto in December of 2007 and then both of them moving out of Sagittarius together, the purpose of these two in Sagittarius provide the clues to the upcoming transitions as we move from December 2006 into the Transition Year of 2007. Setting the pace for the New Year, we will have many new opportunities come into our lives as our efforts culminate with doors opening that are a direct result of our efforts.  Look to your Sun sign (below) to determine the impact of this Sagittarius culmination and to see which doors are opening.

Your rewards will begin to be collected as Jupiter and Pluto get closer together. This will take about one year, for in December 2007 Jupiter and Pluto will connect exactly at 28' Sagittarius to explode the rewards and results into your life. This opens up the new doorway as you move from December 2007 into the new year of 2008 which is also a ONE year in numerology. This has brought you a great deal of circumstances that are about ready to breakthrough the barrier and come into focus. The Sagittarius philosophy is opening up and how it relates to your work environment and your career direction is beginning to make real headway. December is universally a TWO month. TWO is a number that emphasizes blending and relationships. TWO rules negotiations, mediations, and partnerships, whether at work or in the home environment. TWO is also the number of waiting, waiting for situations to hatch before they then move into the next phase. TWO is also growing the root systems of situations to bring strength, stability and sustenance to the project, relationship or the issue at hand. 

Since November was a ONE, the projects started in November will move into December’s emphasis of the TWO to be worked out with others and to negotiate the plan as we move forward into 2007. January 2007 is a ONE month which then starts the year off with the projects that have been hammered out and worked through. The month of February will be similar to December in the negotiation mode will make the projects work and go smoothly. With November / December having the same numerology emphasis as January / February, we are able to see the upward spiral as we move into the New Year. 

With relationships being focused, the holiday month will bring positive connections and beneficial meetings. Many issues that need to be resolved will find the steps to bring harmony to the equation. New partnerships are also a part of this type of month in that agreements will come to be made that will be part of the transition into the New Year.  

THE DAYS OF NEW BEGINNINGS will be December 8th, 17th and 26th. These days open the door for relationships and agreement issues to be brought to a new level of communication. Opportunities to move beyond the past will be brought into the present and addressed in a new way with information being part of decisions made during the month on these days.  

THE DAYS FOR MAJOR CHANGES and a blast of new information turning the known into the Unknown will be December 3rd, 12th, 21st and 30th. The changes on these days bring us the type of information that will require we adjust our view and thought process. The shift of our perspective is required because of the information and the fact that we have to make important changes in our thoughts, ideas and determinations as to what to do with the information that is being given to us this month.  

THE DAYS OF CHALLENGES, the greatest difficulties, broken boards of projects and efforts that continue to cause us to question our thoughts, ideas and our forward motion occur on December 5th, 14th, and 23rd. The transitions and situations that cause more delays also emphasize more of the “unknown” about our self as we attempt to find our way forward. With constant challenges hitting us, we need to grow our inner strength and fortitude to bear the burdens we experience on these days and maintain our own inner counsel so that the outer situations don’t bend us to the breaking point. It is these days that give us the opportunity to listen to our own divine connection and persevere through the days of great challenges.

THE REWARDS and manifestations for continuing through the delays, broken processes of yesterdays are seen on December 6th, 15th and 24th.  Opportunity abounds and sometimes we can’t see the progress, but we can ultimately see the results of our quickened pace and our increased momentum. Through the challenges of the yesterdays, we crest the sheer cliff and are able to see the reward for the climb and for the great efforts we utilized to keep going in the midst of the bombardment of situations.
