Information begins to stream in on December 1st as the planet Uranus turns direct. This shift takes us into a whole new environment as the terrain is created by new information that is flooding our shore. Beginning during the first two days of December, the first two aspects become powerful forces in creating the changes that will continue all through the month. Uranus turns direct on December 1st and the Full Moon in Gemini / Sagittarius on December 2nd turns on the pipeline of change as many unexpected events come onto our shore of reality.Mercury moves into Capricorn on December 5th and connects with Pluto on December 7th. This begins the powerful transformation of the information and events that have come onto our shore. Mercury reaches 5° Capricorn on December 9th, where it will return to when Mercury retrograde returns to 5° Capricorn again on January 15th. During the time from December 9th until December 26th when Mercury actually turns retrograde, we have many astrological aspects that enhance the FIVE emphasis of change and unexpected events moving onto our shore. The New Moon on December 16th turns on the Green Light for many of these changes to begin the shifts, creating additional events that require us to change and adapt.
Mars turns retrograde every couple of years or so. On December 20th, Mars turns retrograde at 19° Leo. Mars turns retrograde and moves all the way back to 0° Leo by March 10, 2010 before turning direct again. This is significant as fiery Leo and action-oriented Mars ignites the Leo energy of leadership and the use of power within positions of leadership come into the spotlight. The need to adjust to the changing events and new information requires adjustments.
The Capricorn Solstice on the 21st provides a powerful shift as well; on the same day Jupiter connects with Neptune. This is significant as our focus while the Sun moves into Capricorn highlights business decisions, career focus and changes with contracts and agreements. This adds more to the information that is already streaming through the pipeline creating changes, shifts and unexpected adjustments.
The Sun connects to Pluto on the 24th, providing the spotlight of information that has occurred on December 7th when Mercury connected to Pluto. This spotlight shines the light on the changing terrain that also occurs because of the information flow creating a new landscape. Mercury turns retrograde on December 26th at 21° Capricorn. Mercury can't go any farther along the Capricorn pathway. Many of the changes that have occurred now require a complete revision of the Capricorn focus of events. The business and industrial aspects that have been brought into the need to adjust as the information stream requires a great revision to occur.
The fact that Saturn is now square to Pluto emphasizes that businesses and industries come under the scrutiny of accountability. The accountability of Saturn in Libra brings the business focus to the judicial arena that portends equality, fairness and justice. The legal jargon has kept a lot of information from being accessible to the ordinary pathways of communication. The connection of Saturn and Pluto occurred and has opened the pipeline to a whole reservoir of information and events that had been occurring. The information that will begin to come into visibility goes back many years, sometimes as far back as 1996 or further. With this information now rumbling through the pipeline, our shore is beginning to take on the adjustments and changes that are now coming to light.
The Lunar Eclipse on December 31st provides the rise of a powerful Full Moon at 10° Cancer / 10° Capricorn that requires that we address the inner emotional ethics and the outer actions of the this Lunar Eclipse. We are taken into a New Year of 2010, opening up to the THREE energy of creativity and self-expression, bringing forward the opportunity to bring new, innovative and, resourceful resolutions to the forefront.

December is universally a FIVE month and highlights the changes that are represented by the FIVE energy. Information begins to stream into the month as the Winds of Change begin to blow on December 1st with Uranus turning direct. FIVE is the number that opens the floodgates for information and changes. Spontaneity becomes required and we find ourselves dancing to keep up with the events that are flying into the picture. FIVE also relates to travel as with travel our environment and landscape change, so the opportunities for travel are also commonplace. Through the efforts of November comes the breakthrough, change and freedom as part of December's new energy. With the Full Moon that occurs shortly after Uranus turns direct, our feelings are met with a great diversity of events. The events seem to be on a conveyor belt that has moved into fast forward.
THE DAYS OF NEW BEGINNINGS that come into play during December seem to be similar to an automatic baseball pitching machine, tossing events at us right and left. These days are December 5th, 14th, and 23rd. We have to be on our toes when these events fly into our life and we begin to jump into action.
THE DAYS OF MAJOR CHANGES and unexpected events provide an increase in the changes slated for an already changing month. December 9th, 18th and 27th bring in additional information that heightens the changes already in motion. We hardly think that it is possible to have even more changes fly into the month, but with the aspects that also hit on or near these days, the excitement continues to heighten.
THE DAYS OF CHALLENGES come in to push us to deepen our perspective and to access our inner strength required to align with Truth and stand tall in this alignment. Often situations become like strong winds that attempt to blow us off our path, but it is our inner connection and inner commitment with Truth that give us our strength to continue. The days that require our inner strength are December 2nd, 11th, 20th and 29th. These come into play as we walk through the headwinds that ultimately will not create such resistance.
THE DAYS OF SUCCESS come after we have shown our strength and outlasted the headwinds of challenge, as the winds shift. These days are December 3rd, 12th, 21st, and 30th. Continuing through the challenges earns us the reward of success, granting us the benefit to see that facing challenges in the best possible way has it's rewards.
