Celestial Profile - February 2008

The month of February brings in many aspects that facilitate the changes of this New Year and make the major adjustments needed. Three major tributaries came together the last week of January which created powerful energies representing the Whitewater Rapids of Change. The three major tributary energies are Pluto moving into Capricorn, Mercury turning retrograde, and Mars turning direct. These three energies become a powerful force moving our life into new and different directions.

The shift into February is felt immediately as Venus connects with expanding Jupiter in Capricorn. Venus connected with Pluto on January 23rd, on the last day of Pluto being in Sagittarius. Venus brings harmony, love, finances, and resolutions to the foreground. Venus corroborated with our efforts while Pluto has been in Sagittarius, since 1995; and has brought into Capricorn the values that can now be handed off to Jupiter. Jupiter is expanding our new career and business directions. Venus brings the information about our ethics, motives, and values into the environment that Jupiter is expanding. This connection on February 1st sets an important pace for February and brings in new information into our career and business directions. On February 2nd, Mercury connects with Neptune, aligning our plans with our spiritual blueprint. This again sets the changes and new directions emerging in February. 

The Solar Eclipse / New Moon on Wednesday the 6th open the door for new and different directions to be solidified. Mid-day on Wednesday the 6th, the Sun connects with Mercury, which usually indicates that we will make a decision and sign on the dotted line with a sense of commitment. However because Mercury is retrograde, we may make an important decision, but we may not be able to implement decisions until after Mercury turns direct and the Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon opens additional doors to create the circumstances needed. Later on Wednesday evening of the 6th, the Solar Eclipse / New Moon brings in the opportunities to realize we are on our new journey. The recognition of the opportunities move into place during the day as new props, people, and circumstances come into our environment. The celebration of our new life opens as we celebrate the Chinese New Year as Thursday provides fireworks in the sky for each of us and our new journey. 

Monday, February 18th, Mercury slows down to begin turning direct, which takes us right into the Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon providing an inner and outer manifestation of our spiritual connection and the outer circumstances. Elements that presented themselves at the New Moon / Solar Eclipse have finally manifested in the outer situations that provide the backdrop and environment to move our life forward. 

February 26th, Mercury connects with harmonizing Venus to bring the commitment and documentation forward. The Venus prompted resolutions which set the pace on February 1st, have evolved through the transitions of February and at the end of this month have become a reality. 

February is universally a THREE month, ruling the expansion of our creativity, opportunities, excitement, happiness and expression. THREE represents the qualities of creativity; so within the month of February we will have more opportunities to bring forward strong creative options in potential projects, tasks and events.

February’s events of the Solar and Lunar Eclipse provide powerful energies that move us into our true and rightful directions as created by our own motives, ethics and desires surrounding our concept of humanity. This shift opens doors to bring our desires into reality. How we have valued humanity and the connection with all of mankind will provide the pathways now available to us. This shift in value systems creates powerful energies that move us forward according to all that is within our heart. Our efforts and concepts of humanity will pull us along our own appropriate pathway that is a custom journey into our new world.

With Mercury retrograding in humanitarian Aquarius, the changes emerging in February open doors for our journey. This course correction is a gift from Mercury to review and revise our directions. Creativity shows us many options that are only seen through the eyes that see infinite possibilities. This Mercury retrograde becomes a very important phase in this new year of 2008.  

The DAYS OF NEW BEGINNINGS will be February 7th, February 16th and February 25th. February 7th begins the celebration of the new directions as the new beginnings of 2008 continue to be revealed. Important issues will be brought into view on these days to shift us into using our creative and expressive energy. This new energy gives us a giant push to move forward with boldness and readiness, ready to make important decisions and jump into our future. Especially as February 6th holds the Solar Eclipse, our new beginnings will jump into the next day as the Sun rises on February 7th with our new purpose.   

The DAYS OF MAJOR CHANGES are February 2nd, February 11th, February 20th and February 29th. Changes blow into February, in particular as the Lunar Eclipse / Full Moon brings in the high tide of changes that have transpired because of Mercury retrograde that has turned direct. Each of these days shifts our focus and goals toward the new directions that are beckoning to us. Each of these days also provides a requirement to jump into action, taking bold steps to address the information that has come into our sphere. We find these days very powerful and full of changes.

The DAYS OF CHALLENGES, when the greatest sidewinds and surprising events send information hitting our doorstep with a thud and cause our jaws to drop and our hair to stand on end, will be February 4th, February 13th, and February 22nd. With these blasts of challenging information, we must find the strength and fortitude to continue walking through the information and enter into the pathway that takes us into our future. It is time to venture into the Unknown as we look to the new pathway of our future that is being created before our very eyes and reveals a whole new life. Yet it is our ability to see the challenges as opportunities to bring forward our personal attitude and personal effort to shift the purpose from one of challenge to one of opportunity. 

The DAYS OF REWARD: The next day brings the saying “What a difference a day makes” into our reality and provides the rewards and successes for walking through the uncertainties of the day. These days are February 5th, February 14th, and February 23rd. Doors of opportunity begin to open and we are able to take action on our strong feelings that prompt us into action. The new energy we respond to, especially noticeable with the Solar and Lunar Eclipses signaling the new opportunities of the year.
