SOLARA'S SURF REPORT FOR JULY 2002
"Don't look for your outer world to change
until you have changed yourself!"
We are in the midst of a mighty transition and July will continue to accellerate our process of going from "Here" to "There" as we move from one set of outer circumstances to totally new ones.
As the month progresses, we will notice increasing changes in our environment. This means that many of us will be changing our place of residence, moving to a location which better suits who we have now become. Most of these physical moves will happen within the June - September time frame. If you don't actually physically move, then other elements might manifest to create change in your environment, such as people moving into or out of your life or a career change.
For those of us who are moving, we will be going to places where we will be happier and more creative. It may be in the same town or it may be across the world, but we will feel much more at home in our new location. Once we get there, we will need to make huge adjustments in our lifestyle and ways of being so we can recalibrate ourselves to align with our new situation.
It's not so much a matter of receiving a new assignment and going there obediently; rather, we will be consciously choosing where we want to go next. We are now making decisions to follow our happiness and create the necessary space so we can pursue our creativity which has been long felt suppressed by outer circumstances and inner challenges.
Finally, the fruits of our years of turmoil, struggle and intense inner recalibration are starting to ripen. Although
these dramatic changes may appear to happen rather effortlessly, they
are only happening to us because we have been through so much.
years, many of us have undergone difficult passages full of myriad challenges
and trials. During this time we may have judged ourselves rather harshly
as failing or losing our way because our experiences weren't happening
on obvious "spiritual" levels. Instead, we were thrown into
what appeared to be a dark pit devoid of inspiration or creativity.
Our focus was thrust upon surviving these tumultuous times. Many of
us experienced depression and a sense of hopelessness. We developed
physical problems which reflected the personal issues we were working
through. And much of the time, we could not count on the support of
others and had to go through it alone, using our own severely stretched
resources and somewhat battered inner strength.
It was all
a powerful initiation which gave us valuable lessons and allowed us
to heal and resolve many of our core issues. It caused us to question
the directions and beliefs we had been pursuing for most of our lives.
It stripped us down to a humble core essence level and made us more
news is that this period of intense initiation is drawing to a close.
And now it's very important for us to understand what it was all about
and embrace our difficult trials as a great gift. It's important that
we don't hold onto how hard our journey was, for that will hold us back
from embracing the New. We
didn't fail or lose our way. We've just been building the foundations
of our New Lives. Foundations are not sparkly towers; they are built
under the ground in the dirt and in the dark. That's exactly where we
have been for several years now, moving heavy rocks and shoveling out
ways, this experience has ground us down and in our judgement we have
perceived this as a "bad" thing. But what it has really done
is grind us down into shining, raw diamonds. We've become more grounded,
more humble, more real, more loving and infinitely more free.
us have spent years of frustration feeling that we weren't breaking
through and had lost our creativity. We were so focused on the great
edifices that we wanted to build and couldn't understand why it was
taking so long. Many of us thought that we were being blocked and tried
to force our way through the perceived obstacles, butting our heads
again and again.
we must understand the value of the process we have undergone. Without
a strong foundation, no building will stand. We've been doing exactly
what we needed to do. We've been experiencing exactly what we needed
to learn. How else were we to become diamonds? How else were we to become
unshackled from illusion? How else were we to merge our vastness with
our physical humanness? How else were we to become real?
As we emerge
from the storms of shattering illusions, we are entering a new level
of being, constantly moving deeper into the Greater Reality. And the
most obvious truth is that we couldn't build the lives we yearned for
or unbridle the full potential of our creativity until we reached this
new level, until we passed through the fires of initiation.
We are entering
twin portals only to discover a long corridor in front of us. This corridor
is a Transition Zone. At the end of the corridor is another set of doors
which lead directly into our new circumstances-- our New Life. Many
of us are now leaving the past behind and going through the first set
through the corridor of the Transition Zone, we marvel at all that we
have completed. We see that our struggles have served us greatly and
made us more real. We lovingly release all our past experience and continue
onwards. With each step, we gather our concentration and focus on our
unhurried walk through the corridor towards the outer pair of portals.
With each step, we feel lighter.
into our New Lives is a certainty. The twin portals are right ahead
of us. All we need to do is walk forwards with open hearts and integrity.
As we move
through the corridor, we are going to discover that we are no longer
alone. There are others passing through the Transition Zone with us.
These people have also been through the fires of initiation so there
is deep understanding and compassion between us. There is a sense of
mutual support and respect. We come together as One Being to help one
other get through to the other side.
these people, for they will be coming into your lives. We are here to
help each other through the emergence process. We no longer have to
do it alone.
going to be full of activity, full of decisions, full of transitions.
But surprisingly, it will also be full of fun and friendship.
